| Jaiwant Rangi, MD, FACE
Dr. Jaiwant Rangi, the medical director of Capitol Endocrinology, is a board certified Endocrinologist and Internal Medicine physician. Working most notably with Diabetes, Thyroid disorders and Osteoporosis, she cares for patients with a wide range of metabolic and other endocrine disorders.
Before starting Private practice, she completed residency in Internal Medicine followed by Fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Wayne State university in Detroit, Michigan; and had served as a consultant and associate physician diplomat in the Endocrinology Department at University of California, Davis Medical Center.
Dr. Rangi has received numerous prestigious honors and awards. She has been inducted as a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology, signifying her attainment of expertise and professionalism in her field. Dr. Rangi also continues to serve on the volunteer clinical faculty for University of California, teaching medical students and resident physicians and staying current with ongoing research in her areas of expertise. She is profoundly involved in societal development and continues to participate extensively in community projects.

| Dr. Harprit Bajwa
Dr. Bajwa graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999
and got her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkley in Molecular and Cell Biology.
After four years of Podiatry School, she completed her 2 year Surgical Residency
in Podiatry at Kern Hospital in Michigan and went on to complete her Fellowship
in Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery and Diabetic Limb Salvage.
Dr. Bajwa is Board
Certified and specializes in all aspects of Diabetic foot care, including
reconstructive surgery, Diabetic ulcers, and wound care. She has extensive
training in Diabetic Charcot foot management, venous stasis ulcers and venous
insufficiency. Her specialization also includes Sports Medicine, and all aspects
of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery such as bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, lower
extremity trauma, foot & ankle fracture care, ankle pain & disorders. Her office
also provides testing/screening for peripheral vascular disease for arterial and
venous insufficiency. Orthotics, night splints and removable boot casts are
dispensed out of the office. She enjoys treating athletes, children, and the
elderly. She speaks Spanish and Hindi (Punjabi) as well. She is married and
has two children. |

Lisa Hartley, RN, BSN, CDE
Lisa is the Program Coordinator for the Marshal Medical Center's Diabetes and
Nutrition Education Program and has been with the program since 2002. She and
her team of Certified Diabetes Educators and Registered Dietitians are an
invaluable asset to our office. Her past work experience includes: nurse
educator/case manager for a diabetes, asthma, and heart failure program, triage
nurse, maternal-child health and various leadership positions. She is member of
the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the American Association of Diabetes
Educators (AADE). Lisa enjoys time with her family and the outdoors, including
skiing, hiking, and jogging. She has lived in the Cameron Park area since 1983. |

| Dina, Medical Assistant
With over fifteen years of experience in the medical industry, Dina has worked in nursing, phlebotomy, and x-rays. Dina currently compliments her work at Capitol Endocrinology with classes at Folsom Lake College. When not at work you can find her spending time with her husband and children, playing sports locally, and riding dirt bikes.

Cherise, Medical Assistant
Cherise, another integral part of Capitol Endocrinology, has almost twenty years of experience working in different medical offices. On her time off she is either with her family (which in addition to her husband and son, includes four pets!) or she is participating in one of her many hobbies such as gardening, photography, and needlework.

Becky, Receptionist
Becky, our smiley, friendly, professional up front voice / face will always
greet you with a smile. She has worked in several Medical offices as a surgery
coordinator, office manager and multiple administrative positions, and is always
willing to help. She is our scheduling coordinator that keeps us all moving. When
not here she enjoys anything outdoors, including gardening, skiing, kayaking, and
above all her 2 horses. She lives in the foothills of our beautiful wine country
with her husband and 2 boys. Her other 2 grown boys and 1 granddaughter keep her
busy as well. |
